Lunch Break is the first Wood & Wind design, originally designed in early 2026. It is a uniquely lightweight, responsive, and fun rowing skiff for one adult or child.

Here are some photos of the second design variant. Note that curves (sheerline on top, rocker on bottom) and skeg (fin underneath for better tracking)! This rose pink boat is for a 10 year old girl who loves fishing. It is a blast to row!

Lunch Break's claim to fame is its small size (7'7") and light weight (about 50 lbs). These features make it super easy to transport. 

This little rowing skiff is meant for calm waters. Small lakes and calm rivers are a great fit. Although it isn't recommended, it can handle a lot more, like the Atlantic Surf,

or the Potomac River's Mather Gorge (at least under low flow). It's good to know the boat can handle waves or rapids that might come its way, but it's best not to seek out these conditions!

Lunch Break is meant for one . . . human, but a dog can fit as well.
